Jody earned her Associate of Applied Science in Nursing from the Community College of Denver in August 2006. She went on to complete her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Metropolitan State College of Denver in August 2016. In August 2019, she received her Master of Science in Nursing from Maryville University of St. Louis.Biography:
Jody Johnson, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with advanced practice experience in urgent care, post-acute rehab, and critical care. With a background spanning clinical education, emergency medicine, and healthcare technology, she brings a well-rounded and compassionate approach to patient care. Jody is fluent in Spanish and committed to empowering patients through education, trust, and personalized treatment.More/Other Information:
Prior to her FNP experience, Jody worked as an RN for over thirteen years, with over 6 years of experience in a Level 1 emergency department and MICU. During this time, she also mentored new clinicians, led life support training courses, managed department operations, and participated in clinical research and interdepartmental care coordination. She has also worked as an Implementation Analyst and RN with US Oncology, where she trained providers on electronic medical records (EMR), provided ongoing user support, and contributed to system development and documentation. ECMC is so excited to have such a dedicated team player!
