What is the HealtheLife Patient Portal?

The HealtheLife Patient Portal is a safe and easy way for you to stay informed about your health care. This service allows you to view your most recent lab results, medication list, immunizations, health issues, and visit summary information. You can access the portal through our website anywhere you see the HealtheLife icon or by clicking the link below.

What are the Benefits of the HealtheLife Portal?

Get answers quickly to questions about appointment times, documents, medications, procedures, visit summaries, etc. If a proxy for a loved one on the portal, you'll have access to lab results, appointment times and so much more to easily coordinate schedules. Have a question for a nurse? Have a question about lab results? Perhaps a question regarding an appointment follow-up--all can be addressed through the portal.

How to Enroll in the HealtheLife Portal:

Step 1 Provide your email address to the Admissions Clerk at your next appointment or email patientportal@ewmed.com to initiate the enrollment process.
Step 2 Watch your email. You will receive an invitation from Ellsworth County Medical Center (ECMC) inviting you to join the HealtheLife Patient Portal. Please note this link will expire in 90 days.
Step 3 Select the Accept Invitation hyperlink to begin setting-up your account.
Step 4 Verify your identity.
Step 5 Create an account.
Step 6 View your health information by clicking on the HealtheLife icon at www.ewmed.com to access your HealtheLife Patient Portal.
If you would like to sign up for access to a loved ones portal or if you and a loved one share an email address a proxy form will need to be obtained. Please email patientportal@ewmed.com.

A Few Details to Note:

- Patients should not use secure email for emergent issues. If you are having an emergency, please call 911 or go to the Emergency Room.

- The provider's nurses (phone nurses) will monitor and respond to portal related secure email within 2 business days.

- Routine Medication refill requests need to go through the normal process, through the pharmacy.
