Shane Frederiksen, MD
Biography:Dr. Frederiksen was born and raised in Hutchinson, KS. He attended Creighton University in Omaha, NE and graduated with honors (Cum Laude) while earning a Bachelor¬'s of Art degree in biology. He then attended Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine (affiliated with Chicago Medical School), where he graduated at the top of his class with honors (Summa Cum Laude). Dr. Frederiksen received surgical training in foot surgery at DePaul Hospital in St. Louis, MO. During this surgical residency, Dr. Frederiksen performed hundreds of surgical procedures and served as chief resident.
Dr. Frederiksen is board certified by the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry. He has been practicing in Salina and the surrounding communities since 2001. He is a current member of the American Podiatric Medical Association. Aside from providing his patients with the very best care and personal attention possible, Dr. Frederiksen enjoys spending time with his wife, Ann, and their two children, Hayden and Josie.
