Emergency Services:      The Emergency Department is covered by an on-call medical care provider and nurses who are trained and experienced in Emergency Trauma nursing, and are certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Trauma Nursing Core Course and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.      Laboratory, X-Ray and Respiratory Therapy personnel are on-call 24-hours a day, seven days a week to respond to urgent and emergency situations.      Emergency transportation services are provided through county owned and operated Emergency Medical Services (EMS).      For those patients requiring emergency transfer to a tertiary care facility (Salina Regional Health Center, ViaChristi, Wesley Medical Center, Kansas University Medical Center, or Central Kansas Medical Center), hospital personnel arrange for air ambulance services through Eagle Life (fixed wing and helicopter) and Life Team headquartered in Wichita.
